Proteomics Technician
Jodie graduated with a BSc (hons) in Pharmacology from Dundee University in 2014, specialising her final year project in toxicology, drug metabolism and molecular pharmacology using transgenic mouse models. After graduating she worked as a Research Scientist within the Biotechnology industry where she helped facilitate the screening of potential drug targets for large pharmaceutical and academic institutes. Jodie joined the University of Dundee Proteomics Facility in 2018 as a Proteomics technician, and has since gained experience dealing with study submission queries, the preparation of samples for MS analysis, setting up and operation of MS systems and the analysis of MS data from qualitative and quantitative studies.
