Amy Tavendale

Research Technician

Amy graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 2009 with an M.Chem in Chemistry with Environmental Chemistry and a year of Industrial Experience. During her time at University she has worked at GlaxoSmithKline in Montrose as an Assistant QA/QC Analyst and at Schering Plough (formerly Organon BioScience) in Motherwell as a Physicochemical Scientist. After graduating she took a position at the Centre for Ecology and Hydrology near Penicuik, Edinburgh as part of the Atmospheric Chemistry group, working as a Reactive Gases and Aerosols Assistant Scientist. Amy joined the University of Dundee in 2010 as a KTP Associate for Quantitative Proteomics for 2.5 yrs, working in collaboration with the FingerPrints Proteomics Facility and Dundee Cell Products, a spin-out company from the University of Dundee. In 2012 Amy joined the Proteomics Facility as a Research Technician.
