Proteomics Technician
Sam worked in Logistics for the Royal Air Force for 13 years prior to relocating to Dundee. She started working at the University of Dundee in 2006 first in washup/media preparation prior to joining the FingerPrints Proteomics Facility in 2008 as a laboratory support technician. Initially with having little science background her role was to provide basic laboratory and administrative support but her role has expanded over the last 2-3 years to include responsibility for high sensitivity In-gel sample preparation and MALDI-TOF-MS analysis of intact proteins. Sam has just completed her HNC in Applied Sciences from Dundee College.
